Ok Just here to advertise a little bit for iammatthewian project by fellow Torontonian, who possibly live in King West (lol just kidding just my impression that's where all the artsy people live) inachan. She's starting a fandrama featuring um, my fugly fanart *nervous chuckle*, recently posted here at http://community.livejournal.com/hetanada/6027.html.
This will take lots of team effort to pull off and the most I can do is help her advertise! I don't see it on the main comm though, shouldn't you post there too? You'll get more traffic there!

A little hidden guideline I have for my livejournal is that I need to have some drawings to accompany every post - this is my only artblog afterall. So have some more of my deserted sketches which I didn't plan to even show lol.

Some sketches that I'm not going to use in the Age of Discoveries post because it doesn't flow with the story. The original idea was to draw a bunch chibi bosses on countries' shoulder, but after inserting the images, I realized it's just awkward. I still like these sketches though, so I'll post them here as special thanks to all those who actually come to my journal - you get to see my embarrassing sketchbook!

I have been bugging bluef0x and piratelicker about pixiv a lot, but thank you guys so much for all your answers! Much appreciated.
So as per last entry, I'm working on something related to the Age of Exploration / Discoveries. Recently got a freelance job on top of my full-time one, still writing my Portugal travel log, cooking and cleaning and all that usual shit, so progress had been slow.

Here's a preview for you guys~France is kind of not visible with the flag showing through lol.

Rating: G. It's even safe for age 3 and under.

I didn't really prepare anything for Canada's birthday, but decided to last minute whip out some thing. I ran out of time so I had to use the lazy half-ass coloring method lol. Originally this idea was to be used on Australia, but sure Canada has a lot of interesting roomates too!

As title stated, so I decided to use her request pic for lighting practice! Mwaahahahhahaa. As a pathetic folk artist, I fail in so many aspects in art...my lighting/color theory is horrible...I got my first art tutor in 2nd year University =_= although still not formal training, he was brilliant and taught me 4 year worth of basic fine art in the course of 5 months and helped me built a more presentable portfolio. Um, thank you Mr. Tam, although I still suck at lighting but I hope it has improved somewhat.
